Air District requirements for water heater replacement
Nick Despota will report on the approval of the Bay Area Air District rule governing water heaters. It is expected to require that after October 2027, when your existing water heater needs replacement it must be replaced with an electric alternative. There will be exceptions for low-income residents, and inordinately high costs due to technical conditions and certain business applications. Dumpster Day
Saturday, June 27, 8 AM to 12 PM
The location is the same as the Dumpster Day as in previous years (see map on right). You should have received a postcard from the City of Richmond with details on accepted and prohibited items.
